Christmas Card - Winter MMXXIII

This year’s Christmas card illustration for the holiday season, featuring a deer in pine motif inspired by German Renaissance artist, Albrecht Dürer’s Deer in Oak ornament. He is a long-time favorite of mine, especially his printmaking work.
I ended up only sending the Christmas Card digitally because December sure snuck up quickly this year! The layering of the intertwining pine boughs was a relaxing way to wind down during the holidays, much like knitting, only digitally with an apple pencil in procreate.

Here’s to the closing of this chapter, and best wishes for the coming year!
